The Client

NAES is the National Association of School Leaders within the Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties sector (BESD) of Special Educational Needs. Its principle aims are to provide peer support, training and the sharing of good practice, to improve the standards of schools and the education and welfare of our children.

The Brief

NAES asked us to design and develop a website, create a database of members, and provide an easy to use content management system (CMS).  In addition, we created a flash movie to support the launch of the website at the NAES National Conference.  Since the website has been live, we have undertaken email marketing campaigns for the client.  We regularly monitor the site’s performance through Google Analytics and carry out on going refinement.

The Solution

We generated a fresh colour palette, font and image gallery and once agreed with our client, we continued this design throughout the website.  Following our customary discipline, we generated an intuitive site structure, making it a straightforward, if comprehensive process, to complete the necessary content.  Our key focus was to make sure the resulting customer journey was logical and successfully enabled a user to easily find the information they were looking for. We engineered a tailored database facilitating members’ access and communication, and a bespoke content management system (CMS) to permit NAES to update the site content flexibly and easily.

To showcase the site at their annual conference we created a fast-paced Flash movie complete with soundtrack to dynamically take the audience on a whirl-wind tour of the new site.
Since delivering the initial website, we have supported NAES on email marketing campaigns, monitoring the sites performance through Google Analytics, and continued to carry out updates and on-going refinements.

The Results

The usage of the website continues to grow, it gives a valuable focus for NAES committee’s work, and a valuable information resource for those involved in this work.
